The role of the Residential Instructor is to provide direct support for people with a developmental disability in every way possible to facilitate personal growth and relationship building.  They are responsible for the atmosphere of their assigned program as a secure, safe, FUN, clean pleasant place to live.  It is the MOST important in ensuring the people at Good Life experience a good life.
PREREQUISITES :
Ability to pass Background Investigation, Clean Child Abuse Registry Check (DSS), Clean/acceptable Driving Record Education: High School/GED.
EXPERIENCE:
Experience working with people with developmental disabilities preferred but not required.
TRAININGS PROVIDED:
First Aid, CPR, Behavioral Intervention (UKERU), Medication Administration Certification, Waiver Orientation Certification.

[PENDING] OVERNIGHT RESIDENTIAL INSTRUCTOR (DSP)
The role of the Overnight Residential Instructor is to provide direct support for people with a developmental disability during the night and morning.
The Overnight Residential Instructor responsibilities would include ensuring the safety of everyone in the house, handling any emergencies that arise, deep cleaning and laundry, assisting anyone up during the night and helping people up and get ready for their day.

EDUCATION:
High School/GED.

[PENDING] SCHEDULER
The Scheduler provides support to the leadership team by coordinating staffing for all GLC programs, ensuring adequate staffing and continuity of care for the people supported.
PREREQUISITES :
Ability to pass Background Investigation, Clean Child Abuse Registry Check (DSS), Clean/acceptable Driving Record.
EDUCATION:
High School/GED.
EXPERIENCE:
Working with people with developmental disabilities. At least 1-year clerical experience. Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel). Working knowledge of staffing management systems such as MITC strongly preferred.
TRAININGS PROVIDED:
First Aid, CPR, Behavioral Intervention (UKERU), Medication Administration Certification, Waiver Orientation Certification.
SCHEDULE:
Based on M-F 10a-6p with a high level of flexibility.  Direct Care: 2 12-hour weekend shifts per month and 1 weekday evening shift per pay period required (every 2 weeks).

[PENDING] PROGRAM COORDINATOR
The Program Coordinator is a salaried, exempt position.  The Program Coordinator is responsible for the operation of a specific program. Teaches, maintains and implements the philosophy of Good Life Corporation. This position is a combination of administrative, supervisory and direct support and duties.
PREREQUISITES:
Ability to pass Background Investigation, Clean Child Abuse Registry Check (DSS), Clean/acceptable Driving Record, Subject to credit history report.
EDUCATION:
Associates or bachelor’s degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
Supervisory, financial management and program writing experience preferred. Extensive experience working with people with developmental disabilities.
TRAININGS PROVIDED:
First Aid, CPR, Behavioral Intervention (UKERU), Medication Administration Certification, Waiver Orientation Certification.

[PENDING] PROGRAM DIRECTOR:
The Program Director is an exempt, salaried position. The Program Director is assigned a number of programs and is responsible for program planning that promotes growth and opportunity for each person receiving services by GLC, performs high level quality assurance over programs assigned, provides a global perspective and broad supervision to Program Coordinators.
PREREQUISITES :
Ability to pass Background Investigation, Clean Child Abuse Registry Check (DSS), Clean/acceptable Driving Record.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s Degree or five years’ experience in providing direction, development and implementation, direct supervision and monitoring services provided.
EXPERIENCE:
2-3 years of management and person centered plan-writing experience, preferred. 1-5 years (depending on qualifications) experience working with people with developmental disabilities.
